Please tell us more about you and about more of the things yo’ve done ?
Xarah von den Vielenregen – Oh, I worked with really great designers, for example as you said with Louis from AMF, with bands for example Terminal Choice, And One, Two Witches, Riefenstahl, Desir Marie…I’ve done a lot performances and fashion shows - a really great show was last year for Pretty Pervy, that was a crazy and really funny thing… If you are interested about more things I’ve done, just visit my homepage..
PB - Touring with Two Witches that must have been quite an experience
Whats the most memorable thing out of that experience ?
Xarah – oh, I have to say, everything on that tour was an exciting, new and wonderful experience. It was my first tour with a band ever and also my first trip to Russia. The most memorable things are: traveling a lot by train, having a really great and enthusiastic audience and a lot of fun…
PB - are you have a poster shop but your items are only available to a few places ,when will we “in South – Africa “be able to get our hands on sum of those ??
Xarah – that’s right….I have to arrange something like this for a worldwide use…At the moment you only can personally order posters from me…
PB - I read that you have a huge wardrobe ... what items are your favorite and whats the most important ?
Xarah – my favourite things are corsets, high heels and latex…But I really love all kind of accessories, for example flowers, bows, fake hair and all that stuff…
PB - How did you get started in the model scene?
Xarah – That is really funny, it never was planned. I loved it to make photos with a good friend only for fun…Later, I began to discover my preference for high heels and I got more and more. So I decided to make more “professional” pics with them…I looked out for some photographers for a shooting…That was the beginning…
PB - Any advise for people who want to be a model and be successful?
Xarah – do what you really want and be yourself…
PB - Where do you see yourself in the future?
Xarah – I really don’t know, but this is exactly the most fascinating thing…This year is and will be my year…
PB - The goth scene has a lot of politics so does the modeling scene...do
You deal with a lot of bitchyness? And whats your view on it ?
Xarah – I think there is a lot of bitchiness..but I have no problem with it…Most models I know and be around with, are really cool and easy going…
PB - You must get allot of fan mail …sum nice sum bad ..some requests !
Whats the weirdest you ever got ?
Xarah – …most mails are really positive and charming, but of course there are some really weird things…Every model could tell you about this I think…For example I got something like murder threat, questions about prices for a night, mails from people, whose friends were collecting my pics and telling that I was their ex-girlfriend and so on…But a really weird mail I remember was from a guy who wanted to sponsor my life if I would live my life only for “fashion”:, no parties, a strict diet, no sex, changing my look according to his wishes and be perfect in every way…
PB - You are a Gothic-Fetish model, what’s your fetish?
Xarah – my fetish are high heels and corsets…A little bit latex and great men…;-)
PB - What ticks you off about some people
Xarah – Intolerance and ignorance
PB - What are your hobbies ?
Xarah – sports, most of all free-climbing and running
PB - What is the one thing you will never do !!
Xarah – That’s difficult…;-)
